How to reach Kidepo Valley National Park begins with how to reach Uganda as a country first, the major entry point is the Entebbe International Airport, requirements needed include a valid passport of at least 6 months, a valid yellow fever vaccination card, and a visa which can be acquired directly online, it is from here that you will be transferred to the Kidepo valley national park situated in the north eastern part of Uganda, the transfers by road are done by experienced guides using 4*4 wheel car drive and flights operated by Aero link Uganda and fly Uganda to land at the Kidepo airstrip.

How to reach Kidepo valley is by 2 ways, the best way is flying to the destination, it takes 2hour 30 minutes to reach Kidepo. There are domestic ground handlers offer this service, flights are scheduled to Kidepo on daily in the morning, charter flights are arranged on request, this happens when guests prefer to be on flight exclusively, the aerial sight of the park is amazing passing over the most beautiful mountain scenery. Reaching Kidepo valley national park can be by car, the drive takes approximately 11 hours’ drive to the national park, the routes include the northern route through the Kampala express highway or from the east through Kampala-Jinja, Mbale – Moroto-Pian Upe and then to the Kidepo Valley National Park, this drive is one of the longest routes to reach the national park, and it is the most adventurous as you encounter vast growing vegetation in low impact zones of population increase.
